"Everything was ok. They hired a taxi for me before my arrival. I had some conflicting schedules with my stay in the avatar lodge(another excellent option in Iquitos) and the management very quickly moved my stay the way I can enjoy the jungle. The room was clean and the free breakfast was ok. It's one small block from the cathedral square ( main). A reconstruction is going on the street in front of the hostel so cars are not allowed to go to the hotel but they can leave you on the streets near....

"It was my third stay at Huayruro and as always, cleanliness and fresh, new like feel of the facility will make me come back for sure. Spacious rooms and batchrooms with showers, nice breakfast area are are all pretty nice and very well maintained. Thanks much guys you are all simply awesome! "

"We were not happy with this booking at all. The front desk clerk was rude and uncooperative. To make matters worse, the hotel did not charge us the rate that we had booked on hotels.com and we ended up paying more. The next morning after we checked in the hotel staff attempted to say why the clerk was so difficult but never did apologize and did not address overcharging us. I would strongly recommend that you book elsewhere."

"I had a reservation and wrote e-Mails with the staff. However, when I arrived, the receptionist knew nothing about my arrival! He was looking for a room and wanted to give me a room for the double price, which I declined! Finally he gave me a room and I've never seen worse: dirt everywhere, even the bedsheets were dirty!!! Only positive: I had AC and the hostel is located in the center."
