The pub downstairs was a real plus. They serve good beers and good food. The staff are friendly and helpful. But it is on the small side and like all pubs in Scotland fills up quickly so get there early. Pillows were lumpy and the mattresses were old and saggy. Not our best night in Scotland. We thought that the Inn was in Inverness not a 45 minute drive. Plus we had no car. A taxi took us there and a bewildered Canadian couple arrived. The staff , the room, the location, were all first rate. The hotel is on a hill overlooking Loch Ness which meant the view from our room and the bar was stunning. Staff are very freindly and efficient and helpful with the local area. Food is very good and a decent choice.
