The large lounge/dining room is warm and welcoming with feature wood burning stove and pretty colour coordinated soft furnishings. Karen and l thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Post Office House.
Karen and l thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Post Office House. It was close by so as to be able to pop in to Inverness when required and central to locations we planned and managed to visit. The house was clean and tidy and it was great to sit at night, relaxing in front of the log burner. The surrounding fields with sheep being expertly rounded up by the local farmer was a highlight of our stay. People in the area, including Ally, the Postie were very friendly and nice to talk to. We would like to return in the future. Many thanks. Stuart

A lovely property situated in a quiet road away from the main A9.
A lovely property situated in a quiet road away from the main A9.Ideal base for exploring the area from Fort George to Loch Ness. There are no 'local' amenities, however a short drive to Inverness caters for all requirements.Fair sized rooms, well equipped kitchen, clean and sufficient bedding/ towels and and correctly maintained. Good WiFI and fair phone signal made booking and checking attractions and amenities a breeze. Tasteful decoration with a welcome lack of clutter.A spacious garden area with visiting birds and views over fields of sheep away to the mountains.Minor points, a loose door threshold was a bit of a trip hazard, there was a bit of a 'damp dog' smell (pets are allowed) and the sofa springs a little soggy.

This is a lovely cosy cottage, off the beaten track and therefore very peaceful but very close to the A9. Decor a little tired in places but the facilities are adequate for a holiday home. We were perfectly comfortable and the dogs loved the big garden I did have to cordon off one area which was a wild garden as the dogs would have squashed it flat.
