Tucked away in the peaceful village of Balloch on the outskirts of Inverness, this modern two-bedroom detached cottage offers a stylish and comfortable retreat in the heart of the Highlands. Outside, guests can make the most of their own private seating area, ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or evening glass of wine while soaking up the fresh Highland air. Balloch is ideally situated for those wishing to experience both the tranquillity of village life and the vibrancy of nearby Inverness, which is just a short drive away. Visitors can wander along the banks of the River Ness, explore the shops and restaurants in the city centre, or step back in time with a visit to Inverness Castle and the historic Old Town. Just a few minutes from the cottage lies the world-famous Loch Ness, where boat trips offer the chance to spot wildlife and, perhaps, even catch a glimpse of the legendary Loch ness monster.  
  
The Culloden Battlefield, one of Scotland’s most significant historic sites, is also close at hand and provides a moving insight into Jacobite history. Clava Cairns is also nearby, it gained popularity after featuring in ’outlander’ it’s a well preserved pre-historic burial site dating back over 4000 years. There is also an excellent pub/restaurant 1.2 miles away, offering food and drinks, conveniently located next to Culloden Battlefield. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the surrounding area offers endless opportunities for walking, cycling, and exploring the scenic Highland landscapes, from the rugged Cairngorms to the picturesque Moray coastline.
