The lodge is superbly located at the head of Loch Assynt with lovely views outside. The bed was very comfortable and the lodge has lots of power sockets. Ticked a box for one night , but room a little small , no hot water for the duration even though reported it twice , mentioned in the morning and was told ‘oh sorry about that ‘not acceptable when you pay £120+ for a room

Although lovely and clean and exactly as described, after hotels and a cottage the Pod was a bit small for us with hindsight. Was warm and well-equipped and is within easy walking distance to the beautiful beaches.
