My husband and I reserved a king sized bed with a sofa bed, as we were traveling with two children. On Expedia it said it sleeps 4. When we checked into the room, and started setting up their bed on the sofa, there was a paper that said “broken, do not use.” I went to the staff, told her and she said “didn’t anyone tell you? Yes it’s broken”... but she checked us in. Maybe a maintenance guy?? or something, chimed in and said “oh yeah, we have two broken ones”. I didn’t want to make a fuss so I said that it’s ok, we’re willing to take extra bed sheets for the bench and couch. She was kind enough to offer us another room with 2 queen beds instead. We moved rooms, and as always, we checked for bedbugs on the beds. One had black streaks on its mattress sheet and was turned inside out. Not sure if it was accidental or because of the streaks, it was done on purpose. I then inspected the headboard and found white streaks?? Almost “chalky” like.... So luckily, I had disinfectant wipes I brought, and wiped it down myself. We were given only 1 TP roll on the holder, 2/3 used up. Thankfully we didn’t need more. We also found that the window had a broken screen, like someone tried to break in. Breakfast was so disorganized. It did NOT seem like they were prepared for social distancing. Tables were so close to each other, and at one point, the room became too crowded and people were walking in and out in all sorts of direction instead of having a 1 entrance, 1 exit. So disappointed.
