Hotel Chaco was an excellent stay and one of the highlights of our trip. The location is fantastic — close to Old Town and convenient to everything while still feeling relaxing and upscale.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had a very luxurious feel without being overdone. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and well maintained, which made the stay feel special from the moment we checked in.
The food was also amazing. Every meal we had was flavorful and well prepared, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel added to the experience.
Overall, Hotel Chaco combines a great location, beautiful rooms, and excellent dining into a stay that feels both comfortable and high-end. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was extremely clean and taken care of. The only pleasant employees we came across was a pool bartender guy and front desk guy. Everyone else seemed like they did not enjoy being there and did the bare minimum for working in hospitality to try and help us. Food was ok at best. Casino dealers were lacking a personality which made the gambling experience not that fun. Very strict alcohol policy - no drinking on the casino floor and all alcohol drinks have to be paid for. I think these are New Mexicos laws though so not a knock against Sandia itself there, just something to be aware of if you’re coming to this property from out of state like us. While the property was nice and rooms were spacious and clean, I just don’t think the price justified the level of enjoyment on the trip.
