Summary:  
This bright and spacious house located in the heart of Hydra, only 4 minutes away from the port, is sure to offer you an amazing stay. Its central location makes it an ideal spot to explore the island, with a supermarket just 2 minutes away and a variety of restaurants, taverns, and cafés all within 5 minutes' walk from the property.  
With free Wi-Fi available, this property is a choice you won't want to miss!  
  
The Space:  
Our property is located in the central settlement of Hydra, 4 min from the picturesque port of the island.   
  
It is a renovated space, part of a house from the early 1800s, in the heyday of Hydra's maritime. Its main entrance is located in a beautiful and spacious square! The house is located on the 1st floor, has an independent entrance, and bright, large windows. Its furnishing combines the old and the modern in a harmonious mix of furniture and colours. The living room includes a comfortable sofa that converts into a double bed, a large table, as well as a round wooden, ornate table flanked by two Viennese armchairs.  
  
The place has air conditioning. The kitchen is in the same space with the living room and includes an electric fridge, electric stove, coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc. Also in the same area, guests can find some basic ingredients for their breakfast. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, a large wardrobe with a mirror on the outside, a bedroom toilet with a mirror, an old carved box smart TV and air conditioning. The large and spacious bathroom includes a shower, sink, electric hair dryer, electric iron, bubble bath, shampoo, etc., there is also a washer-dryer. There are two smart TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, and free Wi-Fi is provided, as well as two air conditioners. Towels and bed linen are also provided. Guests can also enjoy their coffee or rest on the terrace - balcony of the space.   
  
The space is ideal for sea excursions since the nearest beach (of "Spilia") is 10–15 minutes away, but also in the port there are boats that can take you to more distant beaches. Nearby, visitors can find traditional taverns with delicious food. Hydra is also famous for its cultural events and art exhibitions that last throughout the tourist season, as well as visits to the city's museums. Also, during the winter months one can enjoy hiking on the beautiful paths of the island and also participate in Hydra events such as the well-known Halloween carnival. A unique experience is during Easter, specifically on Good Friday, when the Epitaphios in the "Kaminia" area enters the sea.

#### Wonderful stay in Hydra

This house was absolutely ideal. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, meeting us at the ferry and ensuring everything was set up for our comfort. The location of the house is excellent, with its cleanliness and tastefully done decor standing out. This was one of our best stays in a long while, and we are certainly planning to return.

The pictures and description of the property are accurate, but can't possibly capture just how wonderful it is. We were met at the port by the host to personally escort us to the property and assist with our luggage. The fridge was stocked with a variety of provisions so a trip to the market was totally unecessary for our first night. But, the market is a very short walk away for anything you might want. If you have not been to Hydra before, prepare to fall in love. If you have, then you'll appreciate this apartment's location-close to everything but far enough from the port to be quiet. It is rare for us to decide we want to return to a place before our vacation isceven over, but we are already looking at our calendars for time to come back next year and stay longer.
