"Stayed two nights. Room was clean and breakfast good. Reported to front desk that water pressure at bathroom faucets was very low, plus one light out in bathroom. Nothing was done about it. "

Sitting just off I-45 and about 70 miles from Houston it's well-positioned for travelers passing through or spending time near Sam Houston State University. Rooms are clean and well-equipped, with an indoor pool and fitness center rounding out the amenities. The hot breakfast buffet was ok, hotel food. The location in a smaller East Texas city means fewer dining options within walking distance, but for anyone training in the area, passing through on I-45, or looking for a comfortable, no-surprises hotel, it delivers exactly what it promises."

"Alot of roaches. Exposed wire on the ac unit. Bed sheets were stained. I got a non smoking room but the sheets have burn holes in them .no microwave to heat food. Enter at your own risk."

"Love the area felt safe for my family and parking right on the service road close to enter the freeway the shopping center and restaurant very close by loved it will stay there again and the gentleman in the front desk very helpful great attitude , personality "
