The shower had a bit of a mind of its own, but was lovely, hot and very powerful. Nice tea and coffee without the usual Nescafé! Particularly liked the Monbana hot chocolate. Great food and staff very friendly and hardworking. All the staff are so pleased to help and their service is prompt and nothing is to much trouble. The Beer garden is also kept very well and atmospheric in its surroundings. The menu would be great with a few extra options if you are staying for a few days. Staff very friendly and chatty, especially Rosalind, made us feel we belonged. Our bed was very comfortable and the room quite spacious with a terrace and river outside our patio doors.
