The rooms were exquisite. Everything was fresh and clean and the lady was very helpful. This is a wonderful place for relaxation and peacefulness. It was what my husband and I needed. In the future, you should mention that there is a 1st floor and 2nd floor. We are elderly and the 2nd floor stairs were a bit much but other than that it was fantastic. If we are lucky enough to return, we will ask for the first floor.

Great and memorable stay!

Great stay and very memorable - it is truly a unique hotel / B&B. The hosts/proprietors were very friendly and great to talk to. Breakfast was excellent of course. Would recommend when passing through!

Wonderful stay!

This place was so cute! My husband and I stayed here on our way to Gatlinburg & we loved it. The owners were so friendly & the breakfast was very good. The room was adorable & comfortable. If we ever make it back this way again we will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful !

Staying was a wonderful experience, the owners are so hospitable, kind, and warm! The room was updated and very clean and comfortable! The decor was charming, as was the entire Bed&Breakfast. The breakfast were amazing! We will definitely stay again!

Wow, what a great BnB!! The owners Lynn and Lee have literally thought of everything. We were presently surprised about having a speakeasy and a huge patio where a band was performing! We stayed in an old Sunday school room and everything was wonderful!! Great water pressure, great bathroom lighting, and very clean. They provided bathrobes and welcome cookies! We will definitely stay there again. You could walk to the movie theater or a Mexican restaurant close by or a couple little boutique shops where the towns people are so friendly!

Excellent Accommodations!

The room was decorated beautifully and was immaculate. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a place to stay in Humboldt.

This was a wonderful place to stay. My best experience I can remember. It really was a step away from your standard hotel. My husband and I will definitely stay again when next we are in the area. The breakfast was beautifully prepared, the ambiance was elegant. Truly a tranquil place to stay. I loved all the details and the care of the beautiful chapel and the grounds were perfect!

Unique & GORGEOUS B&B!

Absolutely beautiful B&B in the heart of downtown Humboldt, surrounded by quaint little shops. We sat &read our books in the courtyard in the evening & visited the shops during the day. The room was beautifully decorated & the mattress was super comfortable. We were served a DELICIOUS breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, Belgium waffles, coffee, juice & water…all made fresh by the hostess & served at a beautifully set table for two! We were treated like royalty…we would highly recommend Magnolia Manor & Chapel! You will not be disappointed!

The breakfast and room was great the only problem was the gal in charge. She gave us a lecture about not having a smart phone (sorry but not everyone can afford one and we get along with our flip phone) We were the only ones staying there so I asked about changing rooms with no stairs and she made a huge deal out of it so we kept our original room which was very nice. She just ruined our stay there because of her sarcastic unfriendly nature. If you have a smart phone and don't mind 19 stairs you should have an enjoyable stay. It was close to halloween maybe she only turns into a witch then......

What was to be just a special surprise stop-over for my wife before going to Nashville has evolved into being the highlight of our Fall Trip. Wish we lived closer than 8 hrs so we could take some weekend visits. This place was exceptional in every category. Clean, breakfast was outstanding and the owners were great host. The history of this building is fascinating. The owners visited with us for over an hour while we enjoyed a delicious full course breakfast. What a nice and interesting couple. We laughed and shared many interesting stories. Like we’ve known each other for yrs. We are up in years but sure hope we can return. They do eweddingb.
