Although I did not use the restaurant it looked warm and welcoming if I had been staying more than one night I would have gone in for a meal. Although situated on a very busy road, the hotel has taken successful measures to block out traffic noise in the rooms. Room was a little dated but nice and clean also WiFi was good. Didnā€™t try the main restaurant in the evening but did have breakfast in morning of which was continental and it was good and staff were nice and pleasant. Staff were friendly and professional. Although next to busy roads, soundproofing was very efficient and didn't notice the traffic. My wife found the bed a bit hard, I was fine, but it did make a lot of noise, even when just sitting on it. The Italian restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. The location was ideal for our needs, a trip to The Deep and a bit of shopping.
