Gorgeous hotel with very smiley, friendly, helpful staff. Particular mention to Rizki who works in the restaurant. Yummy breakfasts, though dnners average. Suggest you avoid the typically Western dishes unless you like dry meat; instead choose the Indonesian dishes which were flavourful. I recommend this hotel.

A really great hotel. Everything was so clean the staff were attentive. Food was amazing and the spa was brilliant. Pricing for a 90 minute massage was so low compared to the UK.

A lovely hotel. Rooms were very nice, spacious and clean, all furnishings look new or well maintained! Staff were very friendly and helpful, and provided free buggy service to Holiday Inn next door for the kids club, game room or pool. Only wish was for more food options as there are only a few restaurants

Fabulous hotel, only opened last October. Room was so well equipped. Lovely beachside restaurant, great food. Friendly staff. Beautiful grounds, pools were amazing. Beach and sea beautiful. I cannot praise this hotel too highly. Highly recommend it for a lovely relaxing holiday.

A beautiful slice of Indonesian paradise

What an amazing slice of paradise! The hotel is less than a year old, stylishly appointed with friendly can-do staff. Totally unlike Bali - no crowds, no noise, pristine white sand. A shot hop by ferry from Singapore so you can mix the cosmopolitan bustle of Singapore with the laid back paradise that is Bintan Island. I give Hotel Indigo full marks for a beautiful experience! I’ll definitely be back!

Three generations on holiday

Three generations stayed at the Hotel Indigo for a week and we had a fabulous time. The hotel is spotless and beautifully designed. We had a fabulous round bath in the window with great views over the beach. The food was excellent, so much so that we didn’t leave the hotel all week. It is situated on a site with a Holiday Inn and you can use all their facilities as well including a really good children’s play area. There are two pools plus a children’s pool so ideal for families.

Relaxing Long Weekend

Relaxing stay with attentive service. The resort grounds are lovely and new, and facilities are well spread out. Food quality was ok given the price and the prices of treatments at the spa (at the neighbouring Holiday Inn) were very affordable. The only downsides were the smell (liken to wet dog smell) that greeted us when we first entered our garden pool suite. It took some airing and a dehumidifier supplied by the resort to mediate the matter plus the safe that kept malfunctioning. Otherwise, everything else made for a lovely long long weekend in Bintan.

This is a beautiful property, very new and clean, with a contemporary design that centres on the clean and dreamy beach. Staff are very helpful and friendly, good enough to rival their counterparts in major destinations like Bali. The hotel hosts several activities across the day, with variations daily, but it's a pity these are not advertised widely across the resort as it would definitely give a livelier vibe. There are some void areas with seating below certain blocks but these seem quite pointless, and I think the property would benefit if these areas were occupied by more colourful and vibrant features such as koi ponds, snack bars, experience zones etc. Most of all, the stay would have been made perfect if there was a wider variety of food available. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't manage to escape Bintan's seemingly underwhelming f&b reputation. Food ranged from tasteless to mediocre, with no standouts to speak of. A pity as we loved the whole place, especially in comparison to the noisier and more enclosed Holiday Inn next door. Would love to return to Indigo in the future, but the lacklustre food would be a major hindrance in our considerations.

Indigo @ Bintan Lagoi Beach is a newly opened hotel as of October 2024 and an absolute gem. There are some ongoing works as of December 2024 and the list of water related activities can increase. The main standouts are the amazingly designed rooms. Each is an ocean view with wood and island living themes. They are aesthetically pleasing and you’ll want to spend as much time in the room as much as the restaurant, pool and other areas. Getting around is easy and walkable. Bikes and buggies are available! We rode the bikes to and fro from our hotel room to the restaurant called Sugarbeats. The food is outstanding. We did not even need to leave the property once because of the quality and taste of the food. Recommended is the local Indonesian dishes where the chef excels in. Other fare options were good too! 5/5 will revisit!
