I originally booked the place for a couple's retreat with my girlfriend, but since ee had room, we invited one of her girlfriends and her boyfriend. The lakehouse is tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area, and the layout allowed for the couples to have separate floors and bathrooms. The hosts provided plenty of cooking supplies and even charcoal for the grill, which we utilized to cook meals and relax instead of running all over town. It was clean as well. No bathmat for the downstairs bath - we had to use a towel. The guests of secondary upstairs bedroom have to walk through the upstairs master bedroom to get to the bathroom. The interior aesthetic was drab, dark and looks like it was last decorated in early 2000s. Only 2 extra blankets. Those blankets are the only ones available for the pull out sofa. So, if you want an extra blanket on your bed and someone is staying on the sofa, there aren't any. The thermostat was locked and if you wanted to adjust it, you had to message the owners. Furnishings, etc were very bare boned. No lamps in 2 bedrooms, so no way to read in bed and just turn off the lamp. You had to turn off the light and walk to the bed.
