The staff were really nice, downtown location good, whilst both the lobby & 2nd floor are very plush. The downside is: A. I paid for deluxe king room - yet the pillows & mattress were very uncomfortable. B. Being charged for WiFi in 2025 seems a real stretch especially in a ‘deluxe’ room.

A newer edition to Newport hotels, the Wayfinder is an extremely pleasant surprise that values the importance of hospitality. Not only is the property well kept, its mid-century design aesthetic has the perfect level of comfort and sophistication. In addition, the restaurant and cafe take pride in the presentation and freshness of their food, which you can easily experience with their daily F&B credit. As an event professional, I highly recommend adding the Wayfinder as a preferred property for both business and personal travel.

The resort is excellent with great amenities. However I had a bad experience during check-in. I had booked a 3BR condo for 3 nights in May, all the way back in Jan 2025. Upon checking in, I was told that the 3BR condo is not available and I had to wait 15-20 mins and was provided a 2BR condo. I was also told that I would receive a refund for the differential amount. However after checkout I didn’t receive any refund after multiple follow ups. Thus folks beware about what you are booking and what reservation you will get.

This property is fully stocked with everything we need. It feels like home. Kudos to property manager Sam, superwoman who handled all the communication and cleanup after we checked out!

This is a beautiful place to stay on Block Island. The room (while a bit tiny) was well-appointed with modern facilities and products and all comforts. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the The Atlantic restaurant is excellent.
