This getaway is on the doorstep to the popular attraction The Peak Cavern, a spectacular location. Full of character and charm, complete with a cosy wood burning stove, this cottage is perfect for exploring the historic towns and villages close by or adventuring to The Peak District National Park. A perfect UK getaway whatever the weather, with plenty of sites to explore and a great stay to come back to. The Space: Living Room & Dining Room - Cosy living space with plenty of seating after a long day of walking in the countryside and exploring the Peak District National Park, complete with wood burning fire. Books are on the shelves in living room. Smart TV in the corner of the room. For dining there is dining table with 6 seats. Kitchen - Beautifully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, electric oven &hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and cafetiere. Laundry - Washer located in the Garage. Bathroom - Bath / Shower with quality towels and essential amenities provided. Master bedroom - Double bed with quality linen, ample hanging space. Hairdryer provided. Second bedroom - Double bed with quality linen, ample hanging space. Third bedroom - Two single beds with quality linen, ample hanging space. Internet - Wifi available. Entertainment - 30 Inch Smart TV to log into Netflix/Amazon Prime/NOWTV/Apple TV and Disney+ accounts. We provide a parking permit for your stay, parking is located in a residents carpark nearby the property. Guest Access: Parking is located near the property, we have a parking permit in the property which you can use for your stay. There is also free parking by the bridge near the property, the information is in the guest guide which is issued upon booking. There is a key box for the property, the code will be sent 2 days before check in. Ben was available by email if we had any queries. Self check-in instructions were crystal clear. Circumstances meant that we checked in in the dark (and the pouring rain) which was no fault of anyone but ourselves, but did make the short trek up from the car park and locating the exact property a little more problematic than might have been the case - you can't park at the property itself. Loved the set up of the house - perfect for our needs. Very cosy living room area (especially when the wood-burning stove is lit) and access to Netflix on the TV allowed for some family binge watching in the dark November evenings.
