Reception and restaurant staff were very nice and friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was clean and quiet. Pity though that the pool opened late as we had to catch our flight and be out of there by 830.

Great helpful service, great location, great breakfast! We would definitely stately stay here again. The front desk helped us with dinner reservations, tours, and gave us a free upgrade. Overall a very positive experience!

Upscale and perfectly located amazingly clean hotel in Madrid centro near Puerta del Sol and walking distance to El Retiro Park, the main museums, restaurants, shops and Royal Palace. This is my 4th time staying at the Regina Hotel and I wouldn’t go anywhere else when visiting Madrid. Great professional and very friendly staff that aids you with any kind of planning, reservations. The rooms are beautifully appointed, all times we stayed in the penthouse rooms with hot tub and terrace. Excellent breakfast and perfect air conditioning. Highly recommended!!!

The initial impression was okay, but it quickly changed when they locked the hotel and locked me out in the middle of the night with no sign or prior notice. The phone rang multiple times without anyone answering. While I appreciate that they extended my stay upon my request, which I paid for, I was hurried to pay, as if I were running away, and they woke me up in the middle of the night. I already provided my card as a guarantor, so running up to my room to wake me up from sleep was totally uncalled for. Yet the overall service was average. Breakfast is charged per room at every other hotel, but they insisted on charging per head even though breakfast was used only once.

The hotel cancelled my reservation after my flight got delayed. Neither Expedia nor the hotel informed me or event attempted to get ahold of me; I had to make multiple calls to even try to get someone to help me. Still trying to workout how and if I am getting my money back
