Just a 2 minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean!


Enjoy a week or (less) at the beach, in the perfect spot by the ocean, at a very affordable price! Very Quiet apartment with no one above your apartment.
PLEASE consider staying a month in the fall winter or spring, only $1650. @month including VRBO deductions and taxes.

Apartment/ flat, is close to everything, especially the ocean!
Couple's so far, have found the accommodations to be more than comfortable and convenient, with adequate room to relax in style!
A well equipped kitchen, separates the living room from Bedroom/bath.
Bedroom leads to back patio where you can grill or sit out.
For your convenience, sheets can be furnished along with towels. Please let me know...because, some prefer to bring their own.
For those who will be visiting 3 days or more a washer and dryer are available for your use, in a private clean utility room next to your back sliding door! A grill on the patio is for your use ...weather permitting! Nothing fancy, just charcoal..

Enjoy listening to the ocean sitting on the front patio or take a walk from the driveway to the beach access, directly across the street!
Topsail Island is a barrier island. It is surrounded by water. Intra-coastal waterway is on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other side.
It's a rugged island and has been through many hurricanes. Every one takes a toll but, Topsail comes back even stronger!
Come visit, see the history that made this island so interesting!!
Laid back and easy going, ride bikes if you want to rent them or rent a golf cart and tour at ease.
Many Island restaurants close by 9 p.m. ,
I might suggest, plan on eating earlier and party after!

Come as you are nothing fancy just a nice
time and great memories!!

Absolutely Perfect in Every Way ! All the amenities you could ask for and then some. We arrived at Anchors Aweigh on Friday and check in was so easy . When we went inside, we were so Pleased. Meticulously Cleaned, Fresh Smelling, Beautiful Layout , Well -Equipped kitchen, laundry , bathroom with Big thirsty towels and large shower with a Tall shower head ( most appreciated as I am 5’11”) . You hear the Ocean waves calling to you as soon as you open your car door ! we unloaded quickly and super easy with all the storage Carla provides. Plenty of drawer space , closet space , shelves, tables, all very thoroughly thought through. Out the Front door is a Lovely Concrete Patio with chairs and table for your Enjoyment to Listen to the Ocean and Enjoy the breeze. Just about 30 steps from your front door is the beach access . You can safely and comfortably go drop your chairs and leave all day . It is so safe and easy. There are so many Good restaurants, Historic Places, The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue. Go out no later then 7pm as most places close at 8pm or earlier . Out your back sliding patio door is a Beautiful paver brick patio with table and chairs to eat out and Enjoy the breezes . There are 2 grills that work and are easy to use and clean. Our Host was Fabulous ! We will be returning again and again. Quiet slice of Heaven in this busy bustling world. It is such a calming, peaceful and welcoming place to be . Beautiful anytime of year !

Perfect vacation

We only had 4 days to enjoy but the property was perfect for us, very clean and conveniently located close to the beach and other activities (shopping/restaurants).Carla was very nice and supplied everything we needed to get our vacation started. Perfect beach stay!

This was our first time at Topsail Island and I can't imagine a better host or place than Carla's! Truly just across the street from beach access - you can hear the waves from your front porch. Perfect size for my daughter and I and our dogs. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with anything you need while away from home. The bed was comfy and the place was spotless. Carla was the best host as she made sure we had what we needed, as well as supplied beach chairs and boogie boards for us! We will absolutely be back and are thankful she makes her place available.

Home away From Home!

Carla is a perfect host. She provides everything you need for everyday living. Just bring your toothbrush she’s thought of everything else. The home is steps from the beach, and it’s a close walk to shops, coffee, restaurants and rentals. This is our 2nd stay, so seeing Carla and Jedi was a treat! We’re sad to go😞A+ Host & location!

Perfect, Quiet Location.

We loved our stay. Everything was as advertised! Lots of nice extras we weren't expecting: plush towels, paper products, and a cute doggo named Jedi. :-) Seriously, the location was phenomenal- so convenient and quiet, the condo well stocked and we appreciated not having to walk up lots of stairs to get into the unit. We appreciated Carla’s constant communication and letting us bring our dog Sophie for what will likely be her last trip to the beach. We would absolutely return in the future! A Little Slice of Heaven!

This is our 2nd time staying with Carla. You won’t find a better value that close to the beach any where else. The apartment is perfect ! No steps to climb, nobody beside or above you. Perfectly peaceful place to relax and enjoy yourself. Carla goes out of her way to make sure you are well taken care of. Exceptional bedding and towels. Front porch and back deck to enjoy on those nice evenings. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook your meals. So close to the beach! Just cross the road and over the walkway and there it is! The central location makes getting on and off the island a breeze for those like us who like to explore the surrounding areas. Can’t wait to go back and I just left! Saying goodbye to Topsail is never easy but knowing this apartment is waiting for us makes it easier to wait till next time. Thank you Carla for making our 40th Anniversary trip one we will cherish. Anchors Away.

A piece of Love Beach

Great host, terrific location(beach access across street, quiet neighborhood, we didn’t need a big place knowing you spend your time on the beach. Kitchen had every thing, nice to see the extras you might need to cook with but didn’t bring or need to buy . Comfy bed, loved the thick towels ! Would definitely book again .

Recommended Recycle venders/ please put extra recycle waste cans in rental so recyclables can be sorted . Plastics, paper, glass, compostable waste That way there will be no discrepancies when it comes to disposing of waste. Put signs on outside trash cans indicating recyclables and compostable waste. This would be beneficial for renters to know . Also land scraping stepping stones need to be anchored down or removed accident waiting to happen.

Great Trip

Close to beach with easy access, she even shared beach chairs with us, hate that some bad person on the beach stole the chairs and my dogs toy but not owners fault. Very easy to work with and responsive to questions.

Loved our stay here

It was wonderful being so close both to the beach and to the restaurants while being on a quiet little road. The accommodations are very comfortable and welcoming. Carla has gone out of her way to make it a home away from home.
