This hotel is just over 10 minutes drive to Gatwick Airport in the quiet countryside in a beautiful old manor house. Room 209 was spacious, quiet and luxurious but I was surprised to discover 8 stairs to negotiate after I got out of the lift. There was no bar fridge in the room so I had to ask bar staff for an ice bucket to chill the bottles of water provided. There was no power point in the bathroom either which seemed unusual. Apart from that, the stay was perfect. It’s hard to find anywhere with parking included close to Gatwick and there is also a restaurant on site although the menu is somewhat limited and a bit pricey. The bar looked cozy and lovely though.

Breakfast was excellent- glad I opted to adding it to my booking. Great location. Super convenient if you are on a 12 hours layover… the hop on shuttle was easy and very affordable and it gets you to and from the hotel and airport very easy and it’s only 10 minutes away.
Overall a great experience.

Stayed here a good few times, so I know what’s available, it’s convenient to walk into town, Food and wine reasonably priced, but please look into the red wine selection by glass, I’d pay more as it’s all like liquid jam!
