The 4 poster double bed was charming. The TV reception was good. The heater worked. The kitchenette was well equipped. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. The front door key was in a key safe on the door, the code to which was txted to me on the day of arrival. I never did see or hear the owners / managers, which felt a bit odd, but I'm sure they were contactable had I needed to. There was a small kitchenette and a separate sleeping area No actual contact was made with owners but messages sent through Hotels.com. The condition of the building needed work. I know it was an historic building but it needed decoration and maintenance. Windows would not open properly and some curtains kept falling down.
