The apartment has been fitted throughout with modern quality furnishings and appliances, selected for the property. Spacious living room located on the ground floor with wood burner fireplace. Expansive private balcony with uninterrupted views of the Derwent River is an ideal place to relax and unwind. The second level boasts a mezzanine area with a sofa bed. Bathroom has a walk-in-shower with monsoon shower head and floor to ceiling white subway tiles. Both bedrooms have queen beds, high quality mattresses, feather duvets, pillows and high quality linens. Lower Sandy Bay boasts an enclave of award winning restaurants, local butcher, doctor, pharmacy and local grocer. Light, well appointed, good views, clean and tidy. Just like the online listing. The host was very responsive and helpful. We were there for a regatta out of Sandy Bay Sailing Club which was an easy 5 minute walk away. Local grocer and a couple of cafes close by. 10 min drive into CBD or easy bus if you don’t have transport. We could park our RAV4 on the drive outside the garage. Street parking also available.
