When we arrived we noticed that there were tons of flies (dead and alive) in the bathroom. There were even some coming out of the sink overflow drain. When we tried to use the toilet there was urine already in there that wouldn’t really flush, and water leaked out the side piping onto the floor. When I told the staff, they were able to get someone to come fix it around two hours later. However, the toilet still didn’t flush very well even after it was fixed. We think there was a drainage problem in the bathroom because the sink wouldn’t drain the entire time we were there and the shower drain would clog quickly. Also, there was no hot water in our room. We didn't feel comfortable trying to get the staff to fix these issues because they did not seem happy that we had to keep asking them to fix the toilet the first time around. The woman who worked there was lovely and very friendly. Before my arrival, I messaged the host, Van Anh, to arrange a pick up from the airport direct to the property. She was prompt in her replies and everything went well. Upon arriving late at night, she was there to receive me and offered me hot tea and snacks. A very thoughtful gesture. The property is well maintained, modern and the bedding is comfortable. Can’t ask for more.
