My main criticism is that the room rate was similar to the rate that I paid for a far superior room in Osaka. The Ouchi is in a somewhat remote location that was difficult to find on a dark evening. No staff was present. Several aggressive « Strictly Prohibited « signs greeted us. The spartan, small room was reasonably clean. Our wet clothing from a rain downpour could not be dried because the dryer was out of order. The bed and pillow were uncomfortable. The room charge should have been half of what I paid. The rooms are not very big but they are in good condition and functional even for 3 adults. They provided delicious coffee (which you can get more of from the lobby). The fridge and microwave were convenient. The area is quiet at night. There is no attendant to check in but they have a tablet with adequate English instructions.
