First of all, the staff was quite nice and we have nothing but good things to say about how helpful they were for our family. They accommodated our requests. In terms of the property - when we got there, the pool and the breakfast were both not available. Due to renovations, they were not offering either one. The lobby and lobby bathrooms were clean, but as you went up to the rooms, the carpets in the halls and in the rooms are in need of some deep cleaning as they were filled with many obvious stains. The room itself shows wear but is operable and clean condition. I knew going in it was going to be a budget hotel and it was what I had expected. The only thing that I didn't love was the constant smell of marijuana. It seems that some guests were partaking outside. Therefore, the smell waft through the whole lobby, elevators and even up through the halls. It lingered for the two days we were there. While I can't blame the employees, a gentle reminder to smoke an appropriate distance from the front entrance could prove to be a good sign to put up. There is a closed and abandoned Applebee's next to the hotel and no sign on the hotel or on Green Road telling you the name of the hotel. You need a good GPS! Otherwise, it is easy to miss. However, the surrounding area is quiet and has the feeling of being in the suburbs. There is even some green space nearby to walk / run / let kids play. It's not a busy area or noisy. Ample parking, too.

Greg the night desk staff is amazing. I arrived from airport and was in car accident and got in late and had to extend stay. He went above and beyond to change my room so I could sleep in late and not have to change rooms. I also had an incident leaving 4 am Saturday and thought I left wallet in room. He went to room searched and even was going to have pilots on way to airport bring it to me. Way above and beyond. Always remembered me by name. Hotel was super clean and room spacious and bed incredibly comfortable. Convenient location with happening bar but yet super quiet up in hallways and rooms. Excellent would stay again.
