Aug 16, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We were there in mid July on a hot week. We loved the privacy and how quiet the property was! We spent most days down on the dock, swimming and fishing. The living room has a window that is wall sized and swings open to allow a breeze of the pond which was great in the evening. We did not have any issues with bugs entering the cabin during our stay. The cabin brought back childhood memories of camp and sitting on the deck or by the fire at sunset each day was amazing. We enjoyed drinks by the fire followed by listening to old records on the record player in the living room. Talk about nostalgia! Be prepared for small mice, the cabin is old and not totally secure from critters. Don’t leave dry goods out, use the tin box on the table. Needed extra blankets from the trunk for cool nights but they were there. The bed was comfortable. Only a drip coffee pot, no Keurig. Great views and sounds of loons! Paths from parking and to the water are a bit steep so need to be careful. Frogs come in through hole in bathroom floor. Place was filthy and sand on everything. Screens do not fit windows, so bugs stream in. The floor is so sloped its difficult to walk.
