This is a ZeeDonk, which sounds dorky in my opinion. Genetic crossbreed of a, you guessed it, Zebra and Donkey! First used in Southern Africa as a pack animal that was hardier than both of its parents. Unfortunately, like all crossbreeds, they are born sterile. Weeds, grass, or even fingers (Almost!!!), anything that fit in his mouth he would chomp down on. Hillcrest park had its 3rd annual family fun day, always the closest Saturday to the start of summer, and all admission was free! The park, zoo, and splash pad (great for the 100 degree weather we got), were all open to the public. Free tacos too.
