We held our family gathering at the Highland Hideaway, and it was a perfect space. Nine adults and two teens actually stayed at the house, while other family and friends visited occasionally during the day. The community spaces in the house were great. Everyone loved the air hockey and foosball downstairs, as well as the large sofa that allowed all of us to watch TV together. We enjoyed the large yard. We were able to accommodate 19 adults and children for a Sunday family dinner. The beds were comfortable, the three bathrooms sufficient for our needs. We appreciated laundry facilities on both floors. Property owner Weston responded to our questions promptly. The house was in good condition and stocked with everything you would need. We brought our bathing suits for the hot tub listed in the amenities, but there wasn't one. Not a big deal, just a heads-up for renters. We were excited to have a play area on site for our 4 and 6 year old kiddos to play on, but when inspecting the "sport court" we found numerous broken benches, play equipment was in disrepair, and boards with rusty nails in the grass.
