Even though there were only a few people staying. When i tried to tske a shower, the pipes groaned, and the water stopped flowing from the shower head. I had to use my ice bucket to clean up. They gave me another room, downstairs. I was the only one staying there for 2 nights. The shower in the 2nd room did work, however i learned that the bathroom sink had a leak. Id left a pair of jeans on the floor under the sink. I contacted them to let them know that we would be checking in late at night due to the concert attendance. I was informed that the front desk closes at 10pm and they lock the front door and they couldn’t make accommodations for me to get my key. In addition, I spoke to the manager and asked that they cancel my reservation at no charge due to the check in restrictions. I was told they would not make an exception. HORRIBLE customer service. There was nothing in the reservation that noted the front desk hours. I lost money on this reservation and had to pay for a room somewhere else. It was a place to stay close to Chocolate Ave for a couple of nights. Very dated inside - looked promising from the outside. Bathroom needs a good cleaning and updating. Horrible water pressure through the shower head. A/C unit in the wall is from the 1970's! It works, but it's loud and has got to be eating electricity 24/7\. Room was a tad humid and musty. For the price we paid, it was not worth it. We'd spend a little bit more and stay at Day's Inn.
