Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht Vacation Packages

The jr suite room was nice for our family but a bit cramped. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Could use better curtains to block out the light especially in summer when the sun is up for a majority of the day. It was nice that there is a good cafe/coffee shop in the lobby but it is a mistake to have it as the entrance to the hotel. The only way to get to your room is through a very busy coffee shop. There is a very small hotel reception at the back of the coffee shop and it is not convenient when you are trying to navigate the coffee shop with your luggage. There should be a separate entrance to just the hotel rooms. The staff was nice but no one will assist with luggage or even open or hold a door. There is no vehicle pick up or drop off area in front of this hotel. Decent hotel for upscale backpackers or people traveling alone but not really great for families or people with real luggage. The location is excellent for walking the city.

Very helpful staff and large rooms with in redouble views. Close to everything worth seeing in Rotterdam. I felt like the room wasn’t cleaned properly but my experience was good.

L’hôtel est bien situé pour se déplacer à pied. La chambre de bonne dimension est très propre et la salle de bain moderne. Avec fenêtre au 3e étage mais la vue était affreuse. Malgré notre arrivée très tôt à cause du vol transatlantique, aucune chance d’obtenir une chambre avant 15h. On nous a dit qu’on pouvait s’assoir au salon de l’étage. Nous avons l’habitude de voyager et il y avait plusieurs années que nous n’avions pas eu la moindre possibilité d’obtenir une chambre pour se reposer du long décalage. Les bons hôtels le font de nos jours, même si l’heure officielle est 15h. Le personnel s’est montré intraitable et nous n’avons pas du tout apprécié.
