Recently refurbished, it provides a comfortable base from which to explore Argyll, Loch Lomond and the Clyde Sea Lochs. The Coach House is nestled within the mature gardens of 'The Glen', a mid-19th century house in the bustling seaside town of Helensburgh. Just a short stroll into Helensburgh town centre and only a 10 minute drive to Loch Lomond, the Coach House is ideally situated to enable you to make the most of your holiday. Whether you are looking for an action-packed adventure holiday or a quiet and relaxing break, the Coach House will provide you with a comfortable home away from home. The Accommodation: Coach House at The Glen is a converted hayloft within a 19th century coach house and comprises: Ground floor: Entrance hall/cloakroom. First floor: Kitchen/living area with solid oak floors. Bedroom with superking or twin bed configuration. Luxury bathroom with shower over bath. The accommodation sleeps 2 in either a Superking or Twin bed configuration, according to your preference. We accept babies at no additional cost and can provide you with a free baby pack if required (travel cot, baby bath, play gym, bumbo-style seat, toy box, microwave steriliser, changing mat, highchair). Susan and Fergus are friendly and helpful but never intrusive, and quickly like people you have always known. The house is very well situated not far from stunning places to visit. The house is cosy and well equipped with a "like home" feeling and decorated with taste and the garden beautiful (a stream running through it). Excellent bedding and peace and quiet: it was our little nest after a busy day spent visiting lochs and castles. Thank you for a dream holiday, our best holiday abroad ever. ##### canonge m. The property is kept spotlessly clean and nice toiletries are supplied as are some basic groceries including milk, bread, butter tea, coffee etc. The property is located in a very quiet residential area with excellent train and road links nearby into Stirling and Glasgow. The bed is really comfy and the shower is amazing - lovely to come back to after a day out trekking! Everything you could possibly need is provided and the welcome pack of eggs, bread, milk etc is a lovely personal touch and was greatly appreciated. The location is spot on. A very short walk to the town centre for any additional supplies you might need, and an easy drive to the shores of Loch Lomond. Our only disappointment is that we didn't stay longer. The Coach House was decorated to a high standard, was clean and inviting. After a long day of sightseeing, it was a pleasure to come home. Susan and Fergus are very welcoming and are always on hand or contactable should you have any queries. The location is great as a base for exploring the west coast or for a 10 minute stroll down to the waterfront or to the many nice bars and restaurants in Helensburgh. A nice touch is the welcome pack of milk,bread butter and if you're lucky something lovely for breakfast,I'll say no more but get some bacon,sausage and beans to go with it!
