A top floor luxury apartment within a Grade II listed building, next to the historic spring that was the birthplace of the town of Havant. A perfect family base for exploring the English South Coast nestled between the attractions and natural beauty of Portsmouth, Hayling Island and Chichester. You may want to leave your car in the reserved parking space for the week because so much is within easy reach. Havant has plenty of cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops and when you’re eating in there is an M&S food Hall, Waitrose and Tescos all within a few minutes’ walk. Havant bus and train stations are also only a short walk away, with excellent links to London Waterloo for a day trip to the capital. Walk slightly further afield and you can discover the picturesque Langstone Harbour with it’s traditional waterfront pubs and beautiful coastal walks.
The apartment was tastefully renovated in 2006 from a ruined Victorian leather factory and is full of character, the centre piece being the huge open plan living area and kitchen. Sink back into the leather sofas and enjoy the selection of DVDs, CDs and even some classic PlayStation 2 games, which younger visitors may enjoy. (There is Lego too which the young and old can enjoy together!) The open plan kitchen comes equipped with everything you will need to cook for yourself and enjoy family meals around the modern dining room table.
The apartment sleeps up to five including a master bedroom with en-suite shower, plus a family bathroom with shower and bath to cater for bedrooms two and three.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. A very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped place.Good range of shops and pubs nearby. We used this as a base for travel to Goodwood -- practical to drive or go by train.
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Vellum Court.
It's such a lovely place to spend time. Right in the centre of town, and minutes walk to everything, but feeling tucked away and quiet.

Everything you need for a great holiday/mini break. A home from home. Very much recommended from myself and friends.
Nigel was very informative in regard to places to visit and restaurants/pubs etc.
Nice apartment in a nice location. Everything within walking distance. There is also plenty to see in the area. House is fully equipped, only it is much too hot inside in sunny weather and there is no balcony or the like

Our visit to 2 Vellum Court
We enjoyed our stay at 2 Vellum Court. It met all our expectations. It was clean and spacious and had all the amenities that were advertised. It is ideally located. The supermarket and chemist are just around the corner. Daily outings can easily be made to interesting old towns like Chichester, Arundel and Oxford, or to Portsmouth Harbour, the countryside and local beaches. We can definately reccomend this flat.
Die Wohnung liegt mitten in Havant, durch die Lage in einem schönen Hof ist es aber ruhig und idyllisch.
Die Wohnung ist groß und liebevoll eingerichtet, sowohl wir Erwachsenen als auch unsere Kinder haben sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Dazu hat sicher auch beigetragen, dass die Wohnung sehr sauber war.
Zuletzt ist hervorzuheben, dass der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter sehr gut war.
Wir können die Unterkunft daher zu 100 % empfehlen!
Appartement très confortable, très bien équipé. Simplement les recommandations pour arriver ne sont pas claires. Il faudrait préciser que la boîte à clés est dans le parking du 1,3,5,7 alors que l'appartement est au 2.
Alles in allem war es ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Die Wohnung (ehemalige Mühle) ist sehr groß und hat historisch-britischen Charme. Im Tagespendelbereich gibts jede Menge attraktive Ausflugsziele inkl. herrlichem, breiten Sandstrand (0,5 h Fahrt). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibts im Ort ohne Ende, diese sind sogar fußläufig erreichbar. Mit dem Zug ist man in 2 h in London! Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter absolut lobenswert!!!
The apartment was perfect for us. Very well equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable. The area was excellent for transport links to Portsmouth and elsewhere.

The flat is brilliant, well kept and in a nice quiet area but close to everything for walking within the core of Havant. The conversion was done well and the people who live in the area are friendly. Well worth staying here, very peaceful and comfortable
We stayed at Vellum Court for a few days either side of a wedding on Hayling Island. The location was excellent, easy to reach by road and rail, close to shops and supermarkets and with plenty of things to do in the area. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with everything that 5 adults needed to make it a home from home. Just watch your head in the main bathroom which is under the eaves! Despite being so close to the town centre, the area was quiet and felt secure in a gated complex. The one downside - onsite parking for only one car - was easily solved with help from the owner and nearby onstreet parking. Highly recommended and would not hesitate to visit again.
Absolutely loved our stay in this historic development. The apartment has the most spacious living area I’ve ever seen in an apartment. It was very well-furnished and incredibly convenient. Nigel was a pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommended.
A quirky, well equipped property, which we very much enjoyed. The development from an old parchment works is very cleverly done, meaning that although almost in the High Street, the apartment is actually a quiet and peaceful area yet with all amenities (including 2 decent pubs) within a few minutes walk. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would rent the property again if visiting that area.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was just perfect for our family and had everything we needed. It was only about a 10 min drive to the sea and such a beautiful area! Also not far from portsmouth, which was good for the odd rainy day. Lovely spacious living room was also great for family games. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a lovely area.
