I was very disappointed. I had anticipated a restful countryside hotel experience. However, this weekend at least the hotel was more a wedding/event venue (two weddings and one large party over the two days of our visit), with hotel guess seemingly the lesser priority. The restaurant/bar was full (we resorted to taking a bottle of wine to our (over-hot) room to drink. The wedding/party music went on until 12.40am making sleep difficult + I was woken up at 2.30am by loud talking/shouts as party goers departed (in the courtyard outside of our bedroom window). If you stay at this hotel - check the the wedding/party situation + enquire about the bedroom room temperature (our two rooms were both over 30c with windows opening only a few inches).
