    No visitors allowed.

    Electric vehicle charging is not permitted at the property.

    Please do not vape or smoke anything inside the lodge, light any candles or use anything with an open flame, with the sole exception when lighting the log burning stove. There is a £50 cleaning charge for non-compliance.

    Towels are included.

    Please note there is a planned power cut on Wednesday the 2nd of July 2025 between the hours of 9am and 16:30pm. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

    Please note the electricity will be switched off on Tuesday the 2nd of December 2025 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Northern PowerGrid are replacing the transformer that supplies power within the area

We loved our break at springwood the lodge was excellent very private and peaceful and the hot tub was fantastic my only criticism is we would have preferred a walk in shower otherwise it was ideal.The area was great loads to see. And do, and the hot tub and wood burner was the icing on the cake.

Perfect lodge for a quiet and peaceful break with no sound except the birds.

Perfect lodge for a quiet and peaceful break with no sound except the birds. The lodge has everything you need the hosts have thought of every detail you need nothing with you except your personal items and food. Most appreciative of the bottle of wine left in the fridge for our arrival too we enjoyed it whist relaxing in the hot tub.
