Tree top home in Massanutten Resort in great location next to tubing hill

Family-friendly 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa located in Massanutten Resort, nestled in the treetops and steps from the ski slopes! Features vaulted ceilings, cozy fireplace, private deck, stand-up arcade game, and firepit. Walk to skiing in winter, or enjoy hiking, golf, zip-lining, and the indoor water park year-round. The perfect mountain getaway for relaxing, playing, and making memories any time of year.

You will enter the house on the upper level. The kitchen, dining and living spaces are on this level. The lower level has two bathrooms and three bedrooms. One bedroom has a king sized bed. The next bedroom has two twin beds. The 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin sized trundle, a full mattress on the bottom and a twin mattress up top.

Nestled within the trees of Massanutten Resort which is not just a ski resort but truly a year-round destination. Nestled within the trees of Massanutten Resort, you’ll love the wooded setting as you escape from the hustle and bustle of the world. Located on the only street in Massanutten with ski-out access, our home offers a unique convenience for ski enthusiasts. While not directly on the slopes, it’s just a quick 1,000-foot walk to the end of our cul-de-sac, where you can ski out onto the top of Easy Street slope.

Of course there are amazing winter sports in Massanutten, with 1,110 feet of vertical - the most in Virginia, Maryland, or Pennsylvania. The resort has 14 trails, all lit for night-skiing as well and offers ice skating and snow-tubing. But don’t forget about the golf, mini-golf, go-karts, bungee-jumping, zip line, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, spa…and the INDOOR WATER PARK open all year-long. The Shenandoah River can be accessed from only 5 miles from the Resort entrance. Spend a day fishing, tubing or kayaking on the river! Located just minutes away from restaurants, resort spa and shops.

The house is pet friendly but guests must get prior approval before arrival and pay a $100 pet fee per pet.

The Tree Top Home was so very nice and cozy. I love the mountain view from the deck. This home was so cozy and welcoming. Everything you need was right there and it was close to stores and restaurants whatever you wish to visit. More than likely I will definitely be booking the Tree Top Home again. I will also be sharing the experience with family and friends. 10/10 for sure.

It was our first trip since 2019 and were really excited. When we arrived around 4:30-5 pm and went inside ourfirst impression was that it was very nice. Shortly after, we noticed the some unsanitary conditions. There was a blood stain in the middle room on the blanket then when we went into the primary room there was a stained blotch (which looked like dried blood) so we decided to sleep on the couch, My daughter (12) pointed out we had no privacy since there was no blind in the kitchen over the sink, no blinds on the sliding glass door and we were really close to the slopes so we moved the bar stools in front of the sliding doors and put a blanket over them to get as much privacy as we could. Other people have had the same concern. I noticed there was tape in the corners where others had the same concerns. The handrails leading downstairs were filthy. I'm sorry, there is no other way to put it. I used about half a container of Lysol wipes to try and clean them. The primary bathroom had vomit drips on the wall in front of the toilet. That was also quite gross. The door handle was very jiggly, and we thought we were alone there so I put a chair under the handle to help my daughter and myself feel more safe. I read about about the issues with internet service and read it was addressed but the connection was terrible and she had to use my hotspot.

Very accomodating and communicative. We would have preferred black out curtains or blinds in the master bedroom. We are late sleepers and the sheers didn’t allow for that. However, the place was very clean and pet friendly, which was a huge bonus! It is a short walk to the slopes and we had a great time. Plan to come back for sure.

Condo was clean and very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The only recommendation I would have is to have a place to store skis when not on the slopes. The closet outside the front door would be ideal. Overall great location and we would stay again

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. We are repeat guests and love the location and the coziness of this home. The furniture is comfortable, it has a nice kitchen where we cooked all of our meals, and the views are great! We really like the ability to walk down the street and onto the slopes. It sure beats having to drive down to the ski area and find a place to park. At the end of the day, or for a break, it's a quick walk back. We are looking forward to saying here again next year.

The home met our needs and worked well for our stay. The upstairs was a nice open space for our group to gather, while the lower level had three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bathrooms were on the smaller side, but functional.The location is a big plus, with easy walking access to the ski lift. A few updates, such as blackout curtains, pillows, and warm comforters, would make the space even better. Better internet connectivity. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and a convenient base for enjoying the mountain, but for the price tag, you could shop around for nicer units nearby.

This is a nice property in a great location. It's very clean and has everything you need to enjoy a great stay. We really liked the porches and were able to grill out and enjoy the view. The added bonus of being able to use the Owner's pool pass was great, especially because we visited during a heat wave! And the entertainment area with mini-golf, go-karts and bumper cars is fun. We all enjoyed our stay.

Great for a weekend at Massanutten

We stayed at this property for a long weekend with our kids, and it was a wonderful experience. Check‑in was quick and easy, and the communication from the owners was both welcoming and informative. The home’s location was excellent, with convenient access to everything Massanutten has to offer. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches—fresh linens, towels, and a well‑stocked kitchen—which made packing so much easier. The shower water pressure was on the lighter side, but that’s likely due to the area’s water system rather than the property itself. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly book here again.

This was the perfect little getaway for our family of 6 plus our dog! The house was cozy, clean, and well stocked. We had enough room for our kids to have their own space and our own very spacious master suite. The decks are great for sipping coffee and watching the wildlife. The kids loved all the deer! We were able to cook and prepare meals in the kitchen and also grilled on the deck. We went tubing, played at the water park, went hiking, rock climbing, ropes course, gem mining, and also drove to Luray Caverns! Such a fun action packed summer trip for our family. It felt like a secret getaway and the resort was not too crowded. The host also gives you access to the pool which was clean and not too busy. We would love to come back in the winter. Highly recommend!

Massanutten Getaway

This was the perfect property for my family. We had a great time hiking, riding go carts, playing mini golf and riding horses. I would highly recommend it. I would also not miss Woodfiredco pizza in Elkton while staying here.
