The stay overall was fine, but my main issue was with the cleanliness of the room. When we walked in there was dried fruit (I hope) on the floor, the night stand/alarm clock were dusty, and it had a musty smell. We had a junior suite. The bathroom was extremely small, and the door to it didn’t shut or lock. Parking is also a pain. Pay $32/day to park yourself around the corner or $44 for the valet. You can’t beat the location though, and my kids loved the pool which had a nice view. The gym was also very nice. I would consider staying here again but it wouldn’t be at the top of my list.

When we first arrived to our room just before 10pm, the air conditioning wasn't working. We discovered it had ice on it. We called the front desk, and they sent a maintenance worker. He immediately said that the air conditioning had been turned below 67 degrees and needed to be unfrozen. To be clear, this was the situation immediately when we walked into the room. The worker told me he could unfreeze it by using the room's hair dryer or using a "heat gun" that he could get. We opted for this heat gun, which he told us would be the faster of the two options. He came back and defrosted our air conditioner, finishing this process at about 10:20pm. He then told us to call the front desk again if the temperature hadn't improved in 30min. We waited the half hour, and the temperature hadn't improved. I called the front desk, and only then did the clerk offer to put us in a new room. We went to the front desk and stood there for a few minutes because no clerk was there. One eventually appeared, but he seemed to have no knowledge of what had happened. He also didn't apologize for the situation and didn't seem to care that we had been significantly inconvenienced. At about 11:15pm, we finally made it to a room with a working air conditioner. To top it all off, though, the air conditioner in the new was so loud that we slept with ear plugs the second night. This is the worst service I've ever received at a Marriott property, and the air conditioning situation was unacceptable.

Parking is kinda awkward — there are no nearby lots that let you park for more than 10 hours at a time, and while parking is free in front of the hotel from 6 pm to 8 am, that still means you have to wake up at 8 am to either move your car or pay for parking until 10 am, at which point you have to move your car anyway.
