Great location & good price/quality

Well run hotel, good price quality Choose this hotel if you want good comfort and a good location, but dont need a 5 star hotel. The staff is attentive, and there is a restaurant, gym, swimming pool onsite. 1min from main road but good noise isolation 5 mins from tourist shops Near taxi stands Massage available but desolately not available for me

This hotel was one of the best we tried in Rishikesk. It did not have a view of the river and the streetside rooms were a bit noisy but the patio was nice. The best part was that you can go across the street to Ganga Kinare that is on the river and holds a lovely aarti in their private ghat. They also have a fantastic yoga studio on the top floor with an incredible view and a terrific teacher that is free to attend.

The welcome here was so lovely. I was given complimentary breakfast and the staff were so kind. My room was lovely, clean and inviting. As a lone female traveler I felt safe and comfortable at all times. The hotel is conveniently located and within easy walking distance to shops at Laxman Jhula. The breakfast was great and the room service was swift. The food was tasty and healthy. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fine accommodation for an affordable price.

Ok hotel with fine placement in the city, view to Ganga and exit directly to market area. Room was fine and bed comfortable, no curtain to the shower area in the washroom why everything was wet after having taken a shower. Restaurant was nothing to write home about. About 2,5 km to nearest wine shop.

Hotel was nice and we appreciated the early check-in they gave us as well as having a room on a high floor with a (partial) view of the river. The bathroom was a bit of a problem thought when taking a shower there was literally no way to avoid serious flooding. The room also could get a bit sticky and it wasn't possible to open the window to air it out, unfortunately. Breakfast buffet was just 'ok', there were no eggs on offer at all, for example (not even hard boiled ones). Location of the hotel is good, right on the main drag in town, so gives good access to restaurants, shopping and travel services.

Well Above Expectations

I was thoroughly impressed with my recent stay at the Holy River Hotel in Hrisikesh. The hotel facilities were above expectations for their price point. The rooms were sufficiently sized and comfortable for me and my roommate. There was a nice assortment of dishes for breakfast, and everything was delicious. The staff was warm and accommodating. Akash, the on-site spa manager and masseuse, stands out as a highlight. He is friendly and went out of his way to make room in his schedule for me and other members of my travelling party to receive massage treatments while we were there. Akash is a well-trained masseuse who does exceptional bodywork. You will not regret booking a massage with him. I can't recommend the Holy River Hotel enough. I will definitely book again the next time I visit.

Good location

Nice location.

The hotel is in a good location and the food was nice. Unfortunately the bed wasn't very comfortable being two single beds pushed together to make a double, and we kept experiencing powercuts throughout our whole stay. Paying over 6500 rupees for one night, I expected more.

Clean, modern and well run.

Interesting visit to Rishikesh

We had booked three rooms for a stay of three nights and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Holy River. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help the guests with their queries, be it a visit to Beatles Ashram or an evening prayer event on the banks of Ganges. A special mention of Bharat, the hotel's senior manager/GM, is important as he is a thorough professional in his work and had several good suggestions for interesting activities during our stay at this property. The not so positive points about this property include a noisy location, especially during the daytime, and the breakfast offers limited choice and definitely no non-vegetarian food items.
