Assigned to cabin #6 but it was not clean. So I went back to the office and many appoligies and they put me in cabin #4 It was good, a little rustic and had one surge strip that didn't work but the livingroom surge strip worked fine. Got to see fish in the river swimming. The only drawback was the trains. They went thru about 3 times a night, whistle blowing and wheels shreecking. But after the first night you can tune it out. Management was so helpful. Good people and good stay. Lots of birds chirping in the morning. Very peaceful. I sure will go back. If you have pets, the grounds are well kept and no worries about ticks or fleas. GREAT STAY

Check was easy and the staff continued to follow up with us as we arrived since they were trying to make sure the cleaning crew was done before we got there. Cabin was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The cabins are a little old, and the beds are not the most comfortable, but it was more the good enough for our stay.

Found this little gem coming into the area last minute. The Owner was available for questions and assistance if needed, very friendly. Cute little fishing cabin, the train may bother some people but I was not bothered. I only stayed a night, so I am looking forward to staying longer my next visit.

View was good. Cabin #5 cowboy hangout smelled like a litter box. Tried to tolerate it but we couldn't allergies started, so we just left.

These are very comfortable, rustic cabins for an extremely reasonable price. The cabins are very clean and cozy, with many of the guest's needs anticipated in the form of cookware, utensils and various expendable items. The cabins themselves are actually made of solid, hewn logs (which I don't see very often anymore) and very charming. The host lives in a separate building onsite and is very friendly and responsive. The Spring River is a short walk away, the covered wraparound deck is perfect for sitting outside and relaxing, and there's a fire ring and barbeque grill for kicking back outside. Stores and restaurants of various kinds are within a short drive. Basically, we enjoyed the ambiance of cabin living without sacrificing quick access to any conveniences. I strongly recommend this property.

Lots of potential, but majorly lacking

Fist the staff was amazing! That’s where it ended! The room was very dirty, thick dust was under the beds. The sheets had crumbs, and after about 2 mins of my daughter laying on the bed, it broke. The shower had duct tape in it to close probably a hole. Oh and it’s very loud due to trains, which don’t normally bother me, but since it was so bad, they were noticed. We would have left, but it was late pulling in and I needed some sleep after a long driving day, so we only stayed about 6 hrs then got back on the road. Not what our plan initially was!

The cabins are spotless 🧼, super cozy 🛌, and right by the river 🌊 — we could hear the water from our porch and it was so peaceful 😌💤. Every morning, we enjoyed coffee ☕ on the porch while watching the mist rise off the water 🌫️🦆. Afternoons were spent exploring the riverbank 🚶‍♂️🐾 and evenings were all about campfires 🔥, s’mores 🍫, and incredible stargazing ✨🌌. Total reset for the soul ❤️🙏. The property is beautifully maintained 🌻 and you can tell the owners put their heart into making sure guests feel at home 🏡. Okay this was not my favorite place to stay. The cabins NEED a lot of work, however it has a new owner who we did meet and he is working on getting them in much better shape. Once things are fixed, ie stove tops, showers windows, fire rings, air/heat, rodent poop and the overall structure of the cabins it should be a great place to stay. We plan on going back in a year and see how well he has done!!! Oh, the bed in cabin 3 was very comfortable! Not so good in cabin 4. We went to see friends we haven’t seen in a while so the cabins didn’t ruin our visit. We cooked out and overall had a great time!!

We have stayed in these cabins many times. We love the location to dam 3 for fishing. Cabins are old but clean. There are several things that needs to be repaired on these old cabins. For the price and location we will be back many more times

This place should be removed from Expedia. Run down termite infested dirty broke and no hot water. DISGUSTING! They even charged my card weeks before I agreed to pay because I selected pay at property. They said they didn’t have a check in person available but they sure let me know how to get in the “shack”. I’m not sure how the place is standing rails were broke no supports. It was a nightmare! I would ask for a refund but I’m sure they charged my card weeks before authorization because they rip people off. I should have known better due to the weeks prior to the stay and shady stuff started immediately. DO NOT STAY AT ANY OF THE PROPERTIES LISTED AT THIS PLACE.
