That’s where it ended! The room was very dirty, thick dust was under the beds. The sheets had crumbs, and after about 2 mins of my daughter laying on the bed, it broke. The shower had duct tape in it to close probably a hole. Oh and it’s very loud due to trains, which don’t normally bother me, but since it was so bad, they were noticed. We would have left, but it was late pulling in and I needed some sleep after a long driving day, so we only stayed about 6 hrs then got back on the road. The cabins are very clean and cozy, with many of the guest's needs anticipated in the form of cookware, utensils and various expendable items. The cabins themselves are actually made of solid, hewn logs (which I don't see very often anymore) and very charming. The host lives in a separate building onsite and is very friendly and responsive. The Spring River is a short walk away, the covered wraparound deck is perfect for sitting outside and relaxing, and there's a fire ring and barbeque grill for kicking back outside. Stores and restaurants of various kinds are within a short drive. Basically, we enjoyed the ambiance of cabin living without sacrificing quick access to any conveniences. Small fridge and weird kitchen, bathrrom had some old soap bottle in it, very small bathroom!
