We had a king room, it was large and that's all I have to say that is positive. There's mold in the shower and tub, not to mention the whole room/hotel is tired and needs a drastic remodel. The bed was fine, hard, like all of them in China. The front reception barely spoke English. When I called to see when breakfast ended, I was told 12:00\. Service was satisfactory but you need some basic Chinese in order to communicate (English is not their strong point in Harbin generally). Breakfast was also satisfactory with significant variety/choices. Location of the Hotel is very good for shopping and sightseeing (e.g. with a taxi you can be in 10 min on Central Street or Santa Sophia square or in front of Dragon Tower) and the distance from airport is one hour. It looks like the hotel stayed in 2009 condition, and for sure some management has changed, because the quality of the hotel has come down a lot. The breakfast buffet used to be very good, but it is not the case any more. Some staff used to talk English, not the case anymore. If I did not have a translator app on my phone, I would have been in a big problem.
