We had an amazing time celebrating a birthday with 22 family members. The house is spacious, the property is gorgeous with hiking and beautiful views. We really enjoyed the fire pit. Gave great recommendations. We went ice fishing across the lake. Caught some huge large mouth bass! I only wish the hot tub was outside. But it’s still great inside! Scott and Ann were amazing hosts and made sure we were taken care of. There are plenty of rooms and space for everyone. So many activities to do on the property alone: hiking, kayaking/canoeing, bonfire at night, stargazing, hot tub and pool table! Our family had such an amazing time. The land was perfect for outdoor games of soccer or baseball. Everyone enjoyed fishing. Beds were comfy. Scott was great with answering questions. Aug 20, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We were surprised when we arrived that we couldn't see the lake from the back yard, as was expected from the pictures in the web site. However, we discovered it was only an easy 4 minute walk to the lake, so we were fine. We loved the lake. The water was refreshing and great for swimming or noodling. Many of us also used the kayak that had a backrest, as well as one of the canoes. it was great to have three fridges. The second floor fridge and kitchen was a bonus for breakfast for those sleeping in that area. The house had multiple places to hang out and sit for meals. We were a big group and everyone was assigned one night to cook. We found the kitchens very well equipped for that.The lack of a washer and dryer was a minor inconvenience addressed with an abundance of towels. The hosts were very conscientious and communicated thoroughly. ##### Terry H.
