Hallstatt Salt Mines Tours and Activities

I stayed in Salzburg while traveling across Europe. I found Villa Carlton a very pleasant hotel. Conveniently located, within a 10 minute walk from the main train station, and within a 10 minute walk of main tourist attractions and busy/popular streets. We were not expecting any breakfast, but they gave complimentary biscuits and coffee which was very useful in getting our day started. I asked the front desk for assistance on several matters and they were always willing and able to help. Overall, I was very satisfied with the stay and would recommend the hotel to others.

We had a great time staying at Krone 1512. It was a great location in the center of the shipping area. The room was great for 2 of us. We had a room that the window opened onto the shopping street- that was super fun to open and take in the sight. The hotel also offers free tea and coffee in the main dining area anytime of day. So you don’t have tea or coffee available in the room. This shopping area is not the old town that has Mozarts home and the castle- that’s a 10-15 minute walk. Which is totally doable. The parking was a bit of a walk from the hotel so just a heads up if you have lots of luggage. A restaurant suggestion we loved- Superstanza (italian) 4 minutes from the hotel.
