We had 2 nights in the cottage and the children were very happy with the bunk beds. The location was convenient and quiet with wonderful local bird calls in the mornings. All the supplies in the cottage were good except that the salt/pepper were empty! We were most happy with out stay at Awonga Cottages. We booked a one bedroom cabin expecting it to be no frills. We were cautious about the reviews mentioning that the cottages were not clean. There has been a change of ownership in the past 12 months. Our cabin was clean and good value. Our stay was trouble free and we appreciated that Janet had the room and key prepared for us and dropped by to say hello once we were settled in after dinner. Our young boys slept in the bunks and with a door though to the master bedroom we had no trouble at bedtime.
