Gulf County Welcome Center Tours and Activities

We had a 3 double and a queen pull out. I’d probably get 4 doubles and a full pull out as the pull out was uncomfortable but worked. The staff were great and the hotel was awesome. The kitchenette is small but worked for us, we saved a lot on restaurants Probably bring your own pan though. The pool water stayed cloudy for people not washing off after going to the beach. We took our two Boston terriers. The hotel has a 25 lb weight limit on pets. Unfortunately all the grass is across the street but the crosswalk is good but limited places for them to pee. The staff around the hotel are great to deal with when you have pets. This is a great place for families and I would highly recommend it. They have several types of game activities like putt putt on the hotel boardwalk unfortunately we went at a time when we couldn’t do much on the beach because of rip tides and sargassum in the surf, but would have loved to kayak on the water. If you stay here check out pier park and shipwreck island waterpark. There’s plenty of neat activities around and the dog beach is next to the pier.
