Beim Check In bekamen wir ein Upgrade und durften drei Nächte lang in der Suite mit zwei großen Schlafzimmern verbringen. Unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig, wobei wir uns vorstellen können, dass ein Zimmer zur Flussseite etwas lauter ist, weil dort viele Menschen spazieren gehen und Straßenmusiker ihre Lieder spielen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und es gab alles von der traditionellen chinesischen Teasuppe bis zum kontinentalen Käse, Speck und Marmelade. Jeden Tag gab es zudem andere Spezialitäten. The location is excellent and is in very close proximity to the pedestrian street, Elephant Trunk hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, etc. Due to increasing COVID cases in China, we wanted to check out early, and the hotel refunded our extra days without any problem. Almost all of the staff we interacted with spoke English and were friendly and helpful. If you want to swim, be sure to bring a swim cap - they very forcefully enforce this rule (another guest had a whistle blown at him repeatedly for trying to get in without one - could have been handled more professionally on the part of the pool attendant).
