Rhonda & Feryl we’re amazing hosts! Their adorable little lake house, Making Waves, was more than we could’ve hoped for in a home away from home! The two docks were just steps away, very well maintained, and very easy to access! (One is even covered with provided seating and some lighting!) The view from the living room window includes the water! It was lovely!While we were there, we also learned that pelicans migrate through at certain times of year! Pelicans in Oklahoma! Who would’ve guessed?!?! There is a small deck on the house with cozy seating for two. We really enjoyed it! This was an added perk for my Man who is a smoker. No smoking inside, but that was fine by us, because it’s not allowed in our home either. Nearby, there was also a provided BBQ for guest to use.And I can’t forget to mention the delicious, FREE root beer float supplies! Yum! An unexpected sweet treat is always a fun surprise! In case you’re wondering, the internet and Smart TV worked great for our phones and streaming services. They also have cable which made it easy to just flip on the Tv and enjoy! The big overstuffed recliner was super comfortable as was the bed! In fact, we wanted to take that mattress home with us! If your looking for a great place to fish, a romantic getaway, or a trip for your small family, we’d highly recommend Making Waves as your destination! We will definitely be return customers this summer, in the fall to see the pelicans, and hopefully beyond!

This place was absolutely amazing! The hosts were wonderful, the house was comfortable, especially the bed! All our needs were provided for. They even had stuff for us to make root beer floats!!! My husband was in hog heaven & one happy fisherman being right on the water & with a dock to fish off of to boot!! We WILL DEFINITELY be back here again!!

Feryl and Rhonda were the best host!! They are a true blessing to whomever stays there at their cabin. The location is quiet and peaceful and beautifully kept up. The cabin feels like you are "home". Its just the perfect size too.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be looking at going back in the future.

We had an amazing holiday weekend getaway. The location was perfect and in proximity to bars and restaurants on the water. The property has a nice swim dock/fishing dock that we sat on in the mornings and watched the boats and jet skis ho by.

The cottage was clean with all the necessities and extras provided which was a pleasant surprise. Loved the way it is decorated. We were very comfortable. The online pictures and what is provided are completely accurate. Having the private dock was perfect. We swam and fished. We had a great stay even though the weather wasn’t the best for outdoor activities on some days. Our hosts informed us about what was in the area and we found plenty to do. The cottage was very clean and homey with cute decor. We very much enjoyed the stay. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this place for a nice getaway!

Owners are extremely friendly, the cabin was clean and relaxing, towns not too far away and we pretty much had the lake to ourselves due to the flooding. Overall we had a GREAT time.(Try Goodfellows pizza it’s awesome!)

Absolutely Incredible Place!!!!

Five Stars for the stay and TEN Stars for the hosts. We were treated like family from day one and definitely made new friends. This place is a fisherman’s dream, right on the water with access to a Grand Lake launch ramp. Just can’t wait for another opportunity to visit. Hospitality at its BEST!!!

Great cabin on the lake!

My husband and I had a lovely time staying at this cabin! It’s right on the lake, and so peaceful and beautiful. Super safe neighborhood and private boat docking so you don’t waste time launching the boat each time you go out to fish or play on the water. We will definitely be back. Rhonda and Feryl were wonderful hosts!

Great place!

My wife and our 5yo had a great time! We spend 5 days and owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. We fished every day from the dock, swim in the lake and just had a nice little vacation. House was clean and everything was as described. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful Stay

We had everything we needed at this little property and the owners were steps away if we needed anything. We loved swimming and fishing off the dock! The cottage was clean and a great place to spend the evening after a long day! The hosts were both wonderful as well!

Hidden Getaway Spot

When I was scrambling to book a stay for my girlfriend and myself, I was shocked to find such a wonderful spot for us to stay at over the weekend. The hosts were phenomenal in giving us a tour, making us feel welcomed, and still maintained a sense of anonymity while being right across the driveway. We are already planning our next stay at the cabin this next summer and are already looking forward to it. Thanks y'all!

Swim and Fish All You Want!

With just a backyard walk to the dock and lake, we were so close to the swimming and fishing! We went down there every day. It was also nice to have a full-sized dryer to dry our lake clothes. Our place had everything we needed. We definitely enjoyed our downtime here!
