Manchester City Centre6 nights4.0 star property8.8/10 - Excellent (267 reviews)"Staff were amazing and helpful, very kind and allowed me to upgrade to a suite as I was there for a special occasion. The hotel itself is beautiful and I love the decor however a downside was no room service and their QR code has not been updated to the new downstairs restaurant TYGA. Also housekeeping did not make the bed during my stay of 3 nights (1 day I put a do not disturb sign) which isn’t what I’m used to. Overall a good experience but there could be some things made better."Reviewed November 2, 2026Roundtrip • Toronto (YYZ) - Manchester (MAN)YYZ - MAN • 1 stop MAN - YYZ • 1 stopCA $1,705CA $1,323found 1 day agoper traveller - Crowne Plaza Hotel Manchester City Centre by IHG

The staff were welcoming even though we arrived late with three children in tow. Everything was ready, clean and comfortable. Parking was just across the road and very reasonably priced. Grizedale Hotel Deals
"Strange entrance to our room as had to hold the fire door open and room door to get the cases in. Room was clean as was bathroom although bath panel very scruffy. Due to the style of sink turning the tap on causes a tidal wave and wets you through so have to use cautiously! Had to pay for parking as didn’t book directly with hotel."
Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa
Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa"Clean, comfortable room, rather spacious, and overlooking the lake. Located at the heart of Bowness on Windermere, close to the promenade. The only drawback was the breakfast- one had to queue to access the breakfast lounge, and the staff was utterly disorganised, making mistakes etc."
