We were upgraded to a superior suite. It was spacious, but it was tired and very basic. The bathroom was a good size, but the tile grout in the shower was very mouldy. The Murder mystery was really good and so was the meal that accompanied it. Good breakfast on both mornings.

A perfect location for the PF international kart circuit Good food clean rooms and very helpful staff My only issue, Sat and Sunday morning breakfast doesn’t start early enough for people staying there who are attending the Kart racing at PF international.

Very disappointed. We had to hunt for someone to check us in on arrival. The restaurant was only open one evening of our stay. The food was disappointing and we waited for an hour one evening for bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, olives and a cheese board. We were there from Saturday till Friday morning. The room was clean but the beds were small and bedding only just covered the top of the bed. At the pool I was told to get my towel from my room otherwise I would have to pay. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were pleasant. On checking out they were unable to give us an invoice for our charges and promised to send one by email which didn’t arrive.

Although the reception, library room and breakfast area were fine this hotel is in need of renovation. We stayed two nights and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Especially Julia on the front desk. Our beds were large and comfortable but the room was dated with taps not working and the toilet hard to flush. Breakfast was adequate. We didn’t use the bar but it looked like a Wetherspoons. The hotel is set in nice countryside with quick access to the main road. It could be much better with some money put into maintenance.

This hotel needs a big overhaul and a sensible interior designer to make some basic input. Stinks of Under investment. Food was poor and made without much care. Try calling them… you will find it impossible to get through to anyone. Just a run down sad little hotel with a load of knackered fixtures and fittings. Friendly bunch though!

Easy and lovely stay

One night stay on business, just right The hotel was clean, warm and staff friendly. The room was great, bed really comfortable and bathroom superb. Food in the bar was lovely just wished they had a better dining area open early in the week
