We had a wonderful stay at Porcel Alixares. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options. The location is also excellent, with very convenient access to the Alhambra, making it an ideal choice for visiting Granada. Our only minor issue was that the Wi-Fi connection wasn’t very reliable during our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

The hotel is located a little away from the old town but easily accessible by bus, Uber or Taxi. For those with good legs, it is not too far to walk, but all uphill. Location is perfect for the Alhambra, just a few minutes walk away. Breakfast is great, so is the pool, especially on very hot days when you need a cool time after sight seeing. Reception and Bar staff were very friendly and able to offer great advice,

No a/c when temp outside was 28 degrees in the day so the room very hot, it took ages for it to cool down but the staff was very helpful as they were able to find a fan for my kids.

We booked the hotel as it is close to the entrance to the Alhambra Palace - which it certainly is. We required a taxi to get to the hotel from the train station as we arrived late at night at a reasonable cost of €8.. The hotel reception staff were attentive and efficient. The room was spacious with a sizable en suite bathroom. We didn’t choose any meal options at the hotel but were grateful for the free drinking water at the bar. We ate out at a nearby restaurant one evening which was excellent value. The hotel pool was quiet when we used it in mid October. Overall we felt the hotel was a bargain and would return again in the Autumn or Spring months.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our terrace room was fantastic, the outdoor space so nice for relaxing after a day of visiting beautiful Granada. The close proximity to the Alhambra was very convenient but not the best part of the hotel. Professional, helpful staff, lovely pool, and accommodations made for a perfect stay. Highly recommend, and if you can get a patio/terrace room, do so!

Lovely clean hotel, simple check in and out. Great little pool with bar. Nice bar by reception and great breakfast. (Didn't have dinner). Happy to store luggage on last day and were kind enough to extend my check out time as I had a late flight. Loved the location. It IS up a very steep hill but personally, I loved walking off my dinner each night I went out and it's a lovely stroll down (it's an oasis of birdsong and trickling water!) Right opposite Alhambra and very convenient C32 bus that is pretty much all you need for a city stay. Few little shops nearby. Rooms are functional, although there are no drawers at all in the bedroom and small wardrobe. It's a well priced hotel and I highly recommend (been back twice so far, recommended to others who visited and enjoyed their stay and I will return again too.)

200m from Alhambra (many buses from Grenada town center) a little hilly but apart this little thing, the hotel is fantastic : clean, personnel very friendly, large room with a very comfortable bed and last but not least a fantastic breakfast buffet with everything you would like. A must place to stay if you visit the Alhambra next morning.
