The house comes with fresh cut flowers, fine chocolates, popcorn and coffee. The views are amazing! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The screened porch is a delight and there is almost always a breeze. One of the unexpected joys of the stay was watching Shannon, the owner, walk her 3 geese to the river each day for a quick swim. So cute! The house is only 15 minutes from town but you definitely feel like you are out in the country. Nuttall's Store is a great place to grab a gourmet bite or bottle of wine and is only 5 minutes away. We are already booked for next year and I might just be back before then. My husband fished off the dock pretty much every single night lol. We checked out a few restaurants in town, amazing fare! Olivia’s! Go there, get all the food! We were sad we only made it once. Anyway, highly recommend!! Beds were so comfortable, and we had everything we needed to make our stay a memorable one. Nice places to sit outside, and a long dock with benches made for great photos. In a quiet spot, with beautiful views, just the right distance from other amenities. Property is in great shape for being right on the water. Great information prior to check in, easy checkout.Went on vacation with my husband and had a friend join us for the first few days. Very relaxing atmosphere and we loved watching the bird activity on the water and in the surrounding area. Great little town to explore as well as close to the Historic Triangle.
