What a fantastic stay at The George! The room was cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. I especially appreciated the gluten-free options available, which made my stay much easier and more enjoyable. Having access to a laundry room was another great convenience during my travels. The location is perfect for walking, with wonderful paths and beautiful surroundings to explore. The gym is excellent and well-equipped, making it easy to keep up with my routine while away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. A special thank you for the sweet little teddy bear left to take care of guests at night—it was such a thoughtful and heartwarming touch that made me smile. I highly recommend The George and would happily stay here again!

I stayed at w Montreal for two nights during a family trip to Christchurch. My two boys and I stayed in a one bedroom suite that was basically a large one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. Hotel had free onsite parking, was conveniently located just outside of downtown, across the street from a park, and had many restaurants nearby within walking distance.

The layout is really unusual. The tea and making facilities are in a cupboard far away from the kitchen. There is no sink inside the bathroom. The glass shield between the shower and toilet is too small to prevent water spilling out on to the bathroom which makes it wet under foot to go to toilet. We tried to go to lots of hotels for the buffet breakfast and it's not one that I will go back.
