The history of the cabin was interesting. The host was very nice and helpful, especially because he helped us with our flat tire. It was pet friendly. The sunsets were beautiful.
Nice place with the Black Hills for a back drop on a quite road not far from town. Deer and Turkey wander around and through the yard. It's centrally located to most of the poplar tourists attractions. Worth a drive to Big Horn National Forest. Jay was very easy to reach to answer questions and is close by if any problems were to happen. Checking in and out was very easy and smooth.
We really loved our stay at this cabin! The location could not be any better for those that love the outdoors! Will definitely be staying here again!

The cabin was cozy and has such wonderful views of the countryside. The old boards about the cabin felt like being a part of history. Loved sitting on the porch to soak it all in.
Do wish there were some towel rods or hooks to hang up towels but the whole experience of Eyoming life was terrific; can’t be found in any hotel/motel
This rustic Cabin is ideal for peaceful quiet time to watch sunsets, and sunrises Clean and comfortable and away from city life. Enjoyed our stay, definitely recommended to anyone who likes the country setting.
Host very pleasant, knowledgeable. Very clean cabin. Peaceful sitting on deck watching sunrise and sunset. Star gazing was awesome. Great location for driving to points of interest in the area.
Listing was exactly as described and expected, no issues with cleanliness or such, check in was simple. Lots of fresh air to take in and disconnect from reality. I don’t visit the same areas twice, but if I were to go back to this area I would book again.

Serenity and the area is so very beautiful. I would love to live there as the town of Sundance very friendly and clean. Jay checked on us twice to make sure everything was going okay. Thank you Jay for your hospitality!
A great place from which to explore the Black Hills! Quiet, dark nights for stargazing. Room for the kids to run around. Convenient laundry and grilling! Place was great for my family, and Jay was helpful as always.
Nice 1875 cabin that general Custer would of stayed in.
Nice 1875 cabin that general Custer would of stayed in.
Very clean cabin , Jay did a great job remodeling the old cabin.
The gas BBQ was so nice to cook steaks dinners and we would of cooked fresh tout but we got skunked.
Thanks again Jay. Paul
We had been looking forward to staying in this cabin for a couple years for our anniversary and it did not disappoint.
The owner Jay was fantastic and keeps his cabin neatly decorated and clean. He was also professional and prompt in handling a technical glitch in the system.
The sunsets and sunrises are fabulous at this location and is a easy drive off the interstate exit, and we had fun exploring the town of Sundance and the surrounding areas !
Thank You Jay !!
Would highly recommend !
Small cabin. 2 beds. We had 5 people. One person ended up on the couch.
It was clean. Washer/dryer was very handy. Internet worked. Grocery store and gas weren't too far away.
Bedroom ac worked great. Kitchen ac not so much. But it did get to a comfortable level.
A lot of food/condiments (some expired) in the fridge which I usually don't see in a rental.
I did enjoy my time here. I would reccomend for anyone that wants to be in a rural area.
Owner was very responsive and helpful.
We loved our stay in your cabin. For those visiting all the surrounding tourist spots, it’s a great centralized location. We’ve already visited all of them during past visits to South Dakota and Wyoming, but loved how we were close to a lot of trails, and had the option to go back to Spearfish Canyon. We really enjoyed spending time in the Black Hills National Forest and the trails. The cabin has so much character and charm. Well stocked with all your needs. Gives you a definite western feel. Also nice to be secluded but close enough to the sights. Enjoyed the quieter location. If you take the time to look around, you’ll see pronghorns, mule deer, and whitetail deer. Loved the white-crowned sparrows that live in the bushes surrounding the cabin. We were fortunate to see sandhill cranes fly over as they migrated south. Take a trip to Devils Tower! We have seen eagles on our way on two different trips. This time we saw three eagles, magpies, and crows in one field. Also, stop by the antique store in Aladdin. Don’t forget to go to Custer State Park too. Other suggestions: drive to Warren Peak Lookout Tower, hike the Carson Draw Trail (it is beautiful), and visit the actual town of Sundance. There is a thrift shop there that helps the senior citizens. Very organized and I found name brand items. There is a consignment shop called the Anomaly Boutique in Sundance that has very nice clothing for men and women. Loved our stay and made lots of good memories! Thanks, Jay!
A quiet, relaxing cabin with a thoughtful and responsive host. It was a nice and comfortable spot to stay while exploring the close-by natural beauty of South Dakota and Wyoming.
The cabin, the property, the "neighborhood", the cows, the passing herds of antelope, the nights with sooo many stars that you cannot imagine. It was remarkable.
This was a wonderful base camp for our stay in Wyoming. Able to experience Sundance and the Black Hills/Badlands of South Dakota. The cabin location was very peaceful and relaxing in the evenings. The fenced yard was great for our dog. Able to see deer and turkeys during our stay. Our trip had to be planned at the last minute, but Jay was able to get us checked in with no problems.
My husband and I loved staying here for a few days. We had everything we needed. The fenced in yard was perfect for letting our dogs run and play. We loved sitting on the porch and watch the sunset and listen to the cows in the distance. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.
